"chez moi - chez toi is a project that invites visual artists living in France and foreign artists, in this case from Lebanon.  chez moi - chez toi evokes distance, exchange, opposition or even intimacy and comparison. A residency project as a working method. the first stage took place in 2002 in Beirut, followed by a residency at the Collective 12, at la riche in Mantes La Jolie."

upon our arrival by train from paris, we heard someone asking if we were muslims or christians the minute we laid a foot on the platform. we chose to pursue that question.
