a  body in condensed form, beirut creates a short cut.
a  collapsed time: two bodies becoming one,
a reshaped border.

to be in beirut is to [run away] from it.

a frozen moment of packaged miles fixed to be digested by the re-acted city [beirut].

a journey along the discontinuous course of a sporadic river.

its middle line draws the limit between beirut and its suburb.

stuck between two high concrete walls the river runs along a succession of segmented zones, that were once a product of various identity-defined communities whereas they are now being inhabited by shifting populations and reshaped by fast roadways that cuts through or fly on top of them.

a slow movie, that shows fragments of the city’s river-bed while we move on from 9h:23:09 to 10:53:03, from a bridge to another, from one direction to another from one side to another.

on the 27.10.02 we have sent two proposals to the international architectural biennale rotterdam.

on the 27.02.03 we got two approvals for the participation in the mobility laboratory mob-lab section photo & film. Definitive presentation material must be sent at 1 ab before 11.03.03.
